Enquiry
You send through the key project details, including the location, intended use, budget range and any available photographs, plans or inspiration.
This gives us an initial understanding of what you would like to achieve and whether the project is likely to suit Cape Build.
Project Review
We review the information provided, considering the project type, site conditions, anticipated scope, timing and budget.
Where further information is required, we will clarify this with you before moving to the next stage.
Site Consultation
For suitable projects, we arrange a site visit to inspect the property and discuss the brief in more detail.
We assess the existing structure, access, levels, drainage, exposure and other site specific factors that may influence the design, construction method or project cost.
Scope, Planning & Pricing
Once the project requirements are understood, we define the proposed scope and prepare the appropriate documentation.
Depending on the complexity of the project, this may include a detailed fixed price proposal or a pre construction agreement covering design development, engineering, approvals, material selections and further planning.
The objective is to remove uncertainty and establish a clear basis for construction.
Construction
Once the scope, specifications, selections and contract price are confirmed, the project is scheduled for construction.
We coordinate the work, manage the site and keep you informed throughout the build. Any decisions, changes or unforeseen conditions are communicated clearly so the project remains organised and everyone understands what happens next.
